Description - The Indian Society of Anesthesiologists (ISA) Ghaziabad, in collaboration with Yashoda Medicity Ghaziabad , conducted a public awareness program on the occasion of World Anesthesia Day 2026. The initiative focused on educating patients, families, and the general public about the critical role of anaesthesiologists in healthcare and imparting essential life-saving skills.

Key focus areas :
1. Importance of Pre-Anaesthetic Checkup (PAC)- During the interactive session, senior anaesthesiologists highlighted why a thorough Pre-Anaesthetic Checkup (PAC) is indispensable prior to any surgical procedure
2. Demonstration of ISA Panchrakshak (5 Essential Life-Saving Skills)- Medical experts conducted hands-on practical demonstrations using training manikins to educate the audience on the ISA Panchrakshak framework—a set of five fundamental life skills designed for bystanders during emergencies
